Our Mining Asset
PT KILAT PANDANG BARITO controls a dedicated quartz sand mining asset located in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia, within a recognized non-metallic mineral zone. The project benefits from a strategic inland location with established logistics routes, allowing materials to be transported via river systems to coastal ports and onward by sea for export-oriented supply.
The mining concession covers approximately 4,474 hectares, of which around 3,775 hectares are identified as quartz sand–bearing resources. Based on current resource assessments and planned production capacity, the project is designed to support a theoretical mining life of approximately 40 years, providing a solid foundation for long-term and sustainable supply.
From a geological and operational perspective, the mining area features gentle terrain with slope distributions primarily between 1–3° and 3–6°, offering favorable conditions for open-pit mining operations. Quartz-bearing formations are continuous across the resource area, enabling efficient extraction, scalable production, and stable long-term output.
License & Compliance
The project operates under a valid Indonesian Mining Business License (IUP – Operasi Produksi) and complies with local mining regulations and administrative requirements.
PT KPB places strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and transparency throughout project development and operations. All mining activities are conducted in accordance with applicable Indonesian laws and standards, ensuring that downstream partners have confidence in the legitimacy and reliability of the supply.
Resource Quality & Test Results
Geological surveys and multiple sample tests indicate that the quartz sand resource demonstrates high SiO₂ content, high natural whiteness, and low iron and impurity levels.
Independent test results from recognized inspection and technical institutions confirm the resource's high-grade potential, supporting its suitability for industrial and higher-end applications. The consistency of sample performance provides a solid basis for future processing and quality control.
Processing & Future Development
The project is currently preparing for scaled production and supporting basic processing operations, including washing, grading, and magnetic separation, to improve product consistency and impurity control.
Looking forward, PT KPB plans to develop advanced purification and deeper processing capabilities, enabling the supply of higher-purity quartz sand products tailored to more demanding downstream applications.
